Stock exchange news. Petrol and diesel fuel at Russian filling stations become more and more expensive (according Russian Statistics Committee, by 0.1% for the last month and by 10.8% since the beginning of the year). What prices are to be expected at Russian filling stations in the closest months?

What are the reasons of the increase of petrol prices in Russia?

According to experts of Forex Academy and Masterforex-V Stock Exchange, the increase of petrol prices is influenced by five groups of factors:
•
increased tax burden. Since January 01 taxes and excises have increased; manufacturers inevitably include them into the wholesale cost, which is automatically reflected on retail price lists;
•
increased expenses of the owners of filling stations;
•
change of balance between wholesale and retail trade. Due to the administrative intervention of the government into market relations;
•
increased oil prices worldwide. Psychological pressure from rapidly increased world prices on oil and oil products – exactly psychological, for correlation between world prices and inter-Russian ones is very arbitrary;
•
pressure of inflation. As of the beginning of the second half-year, experts of Masterforex-V Academy consider it as something impossible to keep inflation in Russia at the level, which has been planned by the government.

Therefore, price rise of automobile fuel is in many references an objective process, as experts of Masterforex-V Academy believe. The desire of petroleum refiners to gain additional profit is left aside as an autonomous variable.

What are the average prices of oil products worldwide?

As observed from the table, 95 and 98 petrol is most expensive in such countries as Norway, Turkey, Holland, Denmark , and Greece.
It is cheapest though in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, USA, Russia, Belarus, and Georgia.

Diesel fuel is sold at the highest price in the world in such countries as Norway, Great Britain, Sweden , Switzerland, and Denmark . Diesel fuel is realized at the cheapest price at filling stations of Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, USA, and Russia.

Conclusion: as observed from the table, how cheap petrol and diesel fuel is for the population is directly dependent on oil recovery in the country; therefore, rather cheap fuel is used by citizens of Belarus, Ukraine, and Georgia, where oil is not recovered, and which are importers but not importers of oil.

What are the world tendencies of petrol and oil prices at stock exchanges of the planet?

Experts of the Department of In-Depth Trade System Study of Masterforex – V admit that petrol future is traded within a narrow flat of 3.17-3.04; this happened after a bullish wave of Daily/Weekly level has broken MF pivot.

The further course of events will be connected with leaving this flat:
•
breaking the upper bound of the flat will show further bullish trend by wave С or а (С); 111.8% will become the closest level of resistance in the range of 3.22;
•
when the lower bound of the flat is broken, correctional movement will continue, and MF pivot will serve as an important level of support in the range of 3.02 and 38.2% in the range of 3 dollars per gallon of petrol.
